The Vail Pass Bike Tour is an experience for the whole family, which includes a shuttle-ride up Vail Pass, and a scenic bike ride down the bike path, into Frisco. Guided by a CPR certified bike mechanic, this tour can be customized to the group’s needs – whether you want to just cruise down the bike path, or you want to learn more about the area’s flora and fauna, we’re here to bring you a customize experience.

Do I have to make a reservation?
Yes. These tours tend to sell-out, so reservations are required. You can make a reservation in-store at Breck Sports on Main Street or call 970.455.0215
What times/days does the tour run?
The Vail Pass Bike tour runs twice a day, seven days per week at 9:30am and 12:30pm from Breck Sports in Breckenridge.
9:30am – depart Breck Sports
9:45am – arrive at Breeze in Frisco
10am – depart Frisco to top of Vail Pass
12:30pm – depart Breck Sports
12:45pm – arrive at Breeze in Frisco
1pm – depart Frisco to top of Vail Pass
*If you need to rent a bike, please arrive 30 minutes early (9:00am and 12:00pm)
Where does the bike tour begin?
Breckenridge: Breck Sports on Main Street (127 S Main St, Breckenridge, CO 80424).
Frisco: Breeze at Antlers (908 N Summit Blvd, Frisco, CO 80443)
How long does the bike tour take?
You can expect the entire tour to take between 2 and 3 hours. This includes shuttle transportation and average time to bike down the Vail Pass bike path.
Is there an age requirement?
There is no age requirement, however all participants must be able to ride a bike and use hand breaks.
Is a bike rental included in the price of the Vail Pass Bike Tour?
Yes - Bike rental and helmet are both included in the Vail Pass Bike Tour package.
Do I have to return the rental bike right after the tour?
No. You are allowed to keep your bike for the duration of the day. Bikes can be returned to either Breeze at Antlers in Frisco or Breck Sports on Main Street in Breckenridge.
What should I wear?
The most important thing to wear would be sneakers/tennis shoes. Other than that, you can wear anything you feel comfortable riding a bike in. Also, don’t forget your sunscreen!
I have a child who is too young to ride a bike, can I go on the tour with a child carrier attachment on the bike?
Unfortunately, no. Child carrier attachments are not allowed on the bike tour. All participants must be able to ride their own bike and use hand breaks.
